2. Security of media of all types

3. Technology licensing vs. hosting
Streamlike™ media can either be delivered from your own servers through technology licensing, or from hosting servers (including our own). Fees are based on outgoing traffic.
Streamlike Hosting Partner Program
Hosting Services enrolled in our partner program will be charged based on the volume of Streamlike™ media transferred, in gigabytes.

4. Media encoding
Streamlike™ video or audio encoding are non-proprietary:
Streamlike™ players play videos encoded for the standard Flash Video Format or with the H264 codec, using any compatible editing or encoding software package (e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Sorenson Squeeze, On2 Flix, TMPGenc, etc..).
Streamlike™ audio is nothing more than mp3 encapsulated into a secure Flash player. Therefore, any audio encoding software may generate Streamlike audio files!
Our prices for encoding videos from digital sources (e-mail, FTP, CD or DVD) to the FLV format are based on the duration of the video :
- from 1 to 5 minutes : $12 /min, with a minimum of $36 / source
- from 5 to 10 minutes : $10 /min
- from 10 to 30 minutes : $6 /min
- more than 30 minutes : $4 /min
